I must say, I'm very proud of myself for completing this Monday. I had 5 castings (keep in mind it's usually 30-60 minutes to get to each one) and I made every single one. I even made time to stop by the agency afterwards! I feel quite accomplished about it. I guess I'm getting the hang of things now! I came home to a great surprise also... You guessed it, pancakes. Roxane and Nibar were making pancakes for the girls, "healthier" ones that is, and they were delicious. Anything that reminds me of home is usually a good thing. I have some great roommates.
Tuesday I worked again, and it was a very interesting experience. They were mostly accessory shots which meant standing underneath a light for 30 minutes or more taking the same picture so they can get the photo precise. At first it's easy, and then after standing for a while in the same exact pose it can get kind of difficult. Definitely a great experience and everyone working on set was great! Not to mention that the food was amazing. Not always do you get to have famously made Guinness Chocolate cake at a photo-shoot.
When I got my schedule Tuesday evening for Wednesday, I had three morning castings so I made plans to finally go your Warner Brothers Harry Potter studios! I didn't care that I was going by myself, I just had to go while I am I London. It was a requirement for me. I booked my ticket for Wednesday afternoon and after my castings ended I was on my way! It's not in the city but an hour and 45 minutes away by public transportation. But... And I knew this would happen when I booked my non-refundable ticket, I got a message from the agency when I was 20 minutes away about a last minute request-casting. That was a big deal. So I actually ended up making it to the studios, and not even stepping a foot inside. I was able to get my ticket rescheduled while I was there, and then I was right back on the bus towards home again. It was so nerve wracking trying to get back in time to leave for the casting I just ended up running at any chance I could. Workout for the day, right? I ended up being 15 minutes early to the casting so it worked out great! Such a great opportunity to do the casting though, so HP Studios can wait for me.

Thursday evening we had an agency Christmas party! Of course to be fully I spirit you have to have some sort of Christmas sweater, so earlier in the day after my test shoot I successfully found one at Primark. I also went to Harrods to look around the whole store and oh my goodness I could spent all day there, that place is amazing. They have multiple food kitchens with chocolate, seafood, meat, bakery, tea, just name it and they have it. They also have a pet spa and pets up for adoption in the store, they have all the designers you could probably name, and they have the coolest window displays I've seen.

Anyways, the Christmas party was great to meet some of the other girls from the agency! Some of them I had known from other photo-shoots and some I had just seen around at different castings, but it was good to talk more with them and just have a good time. I'm telling you, my agency is the best. It was also a good outing with my roommates since it was the last time to hang out with them before they left and I left for Florida! After the party ended I spent the night finishing packing and getting ready for a week off of work! FLORIDAAAA IM COMING FOR YOU! I'm so excited to see family. If only my dog and boyfriend could have tagged along… (And I apologize in advance for these very weird and embarrassing photos. Can't be so serious all the time!)
I will be back in London Town December 1st for another two weeks!
