"I want the pancakes"

Finally, the weekend. 

The first week was so hectic! I was already looking forward to some down time (and some sleep). After passing this gigantic mall called Westfield in-between castings, I made plans to go there Saturday. So my day consisted of food, clothes, more food, and grocery shopping (even more food). It was a perfect day out and not to mention that the mall was so cool! I had imagined that there would be more American chains here but I got to see so many different stores as well as food items. Even though there were many foreign options for food that I could have tried, I just had to go for a classic quesadilla. I miss food from home already, and I especially miss my mother’s home cooked meals. But, dessert was even better. They had a mini pancake booth that was absolutely delicious and covered with chocolate and caramel and Nutella and all things wonderful and it pleased my craving for breakfast and sweets 24/7. And Nibar has been obsessed with them ever since, so now all I hear is "I want the pancakes" But then again, I don't blame her!

On the way home, we finally got to ride on the top of a double decker bus. I felt like a tourist. And it felt good.

Then it was Sunday and Nibar and I had a test shoot for the day! We ended up going together to make it easier and that way we had each other for if we got lost (which did end up happening) but one thing turned into another and we got to take a lot of photos together! It was a lot of fun, and not to mention that the pictures are awesome as well! And the day ended with delicious pizza. Any day ending with pizza is a good day. Unless it is pouring rain while walking home…

It was a very successful first weekend, and I’m already looking forward to the next one. There is so much to do, and time has already gone by so fast!
