This weekend so far was my favorite, but then again I only have
one other really good weekend to compare it to.
Nickayla had found a Christmas lighting on Saturday to go to, and I'm so glad we went. Not because it was freezing and there were so many people you could barely move, but because CHRISTMAS! I finally got that feeling that Christmas is coming soon and it made me so happy. Besides that though, it was beautiful! The shopping street lit up with lights and there were various events going on for the occasion as well.
We watched one fashion show (and we
all refrained from jumping on stage ourselves) and we planned on watching some
of the celebrity and music presenters but that never ended up happening because
dinner took so long. I even missed the fireworks that started the lighting
because I was too busy paying, but that's okay because later on we ran into
fireworks that made up for it. It's almost confusing seeing all these fireworks
going of for the past couple weeks because I'm only used to seeing them in the
summer! I don't mind them though, they are exciting. Anyways, we also walked
around and shopped a bit before dinner and the lights. I have never seen so
many H&M's or other stores in one small little area. Pretty sure I came
across at least three H&M's in just the one street we walked.

We also went to Hamley's, which is a toy store similar to FAO Schwarz in NYC. It was fun just to walk around and see what was going on!
The fireworks on the way home.
Sunday was such a good and very needed day. Nickayla
had also mentioned about a church they have here called Hillsong that she had
found in New York . I felt at home being able to go and it feels so good
to know that I have a church to go to for when I'm here or I'm in NYC or
anywhere else that they have one! I knew God would help me find somewhere I could be with him.

And shoutout to my super handsome and awesome boyfriend on his 19th birthday! You're pretty cool and I kinda like you...
Okay, okay, I love you!
Also, public announcement: It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas!
